Privacy Policy

Keeptly ("the app") is made by Baran Borak, an independent developer. Keeptly is built to keep your receipts private: they stay on your iPhone.

What we collect

We do not collect personal data. Keeptly has no user accounts and no servers of its own.

• Your items, receipts, receipt photos and PDFs, amounts, VAT details, notes, business details you enter (such as a taxpayer name or tax number for the accountant package) and your settings are stored only on your device, in the app's own storage. We cannot see them.
• Reminders are scheduled as local notifications on your device. Nothing is sent to us.
• Widgets and Siri shortcuts read the same on-device data to show your next deadline or this month's figures.

Camera, photos and files

• Camera: used only when you scan a receipt. The picture is processed and saved on your device.
• Photos: you can pick an existing photo with Apple's photo picker, so the app never gets access to your whole library. If you choose "Save Image", the app asks for permission to add that one image to your Photos.
• Files: PDFs or images you open in Keeptly, or share to it from another app, are copied into the app's storage on your device.

Text recognition and suggestions

Reading the store, date, total, VAT and other details from a receipt is done on your device with Apple's Vision framework. On iPhones that support Apple Intelligence (iOS 26 or later), Keeptly may suggest a product name and category using Apple's on-device Foundation Models framework. Your receipts are not uploaded to us or to any other service for this.

Exports you share

When you create an accountant package, a warranty claim PDF, a home inventory PDF or a backup, the file is made on your device and goes only where you send it (for example Mail, Files or AirDrop). From then on, the app or person you send it to handles it under their own terms.

Purchases

Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple. To check whether Premium is active, the app uses RevenueCat, Inc., which receives an anonymous app user ID and your purchase history from Apple. It is used to unlock Premium and to give us aggregated purchase statistics (for example, how many trials become subscriptions). This data is not linked to your name or email and is not used for advertising or tracking. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.

Tracking and advertising

Keeptly contains no ads and does not track you across apps or websites. It contains no analytics SDK.

This website

keeptly.baranborak.com does not set cookies and does not use analytics today. If we add Google Analytics or Google Ads measurement later, the site will ask for your consent first (Google Consent Mode v2): nothing is measured until you choose "Accept", and you can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer. If you email us, we use your address only to reply.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Türkiye's Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK, No. 6698) you can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to processing. Because your Keeptly data stays on your device, you can view, change or delete it yourself in the app at any time. For anything else, write to contact@baranborak.com.

Deleting your data

Delete an item in the app to remove it and its documents, or delete the app to remove everything it stored on your device. Backups you exported are not deleted automatically.

Children

Keeptly is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.

If this policy changes, we will update the date above and publish the new version on this page.
